Terminals 1 and 2 are not walkably connected
Travel between the two terminals requires the AREX airport train (about 6 minutes, KRW 1,050). Allow extra time when the connection is tight.

Transfer security screening is mandatory
Official transfer guides route every connecting passenger through a Security Screening Area (2F) before boarding; transfer desks are at Terminal 1 (2F), the Concourse and Terminal 2 (2F). Liquids over 100ml are not allowed in carry-on unless sealed in a "Duty Free Liquid Item Bag".
